from one person, but let me assure you, I have seen and done a lot over
my 25 years of real estate experience.
My Real Estate History:
Starting in my teen years, I did hard work with what are
known as "Fixer
Uppers" ... As a result, I know what it takes to turn
those properties
into great " sweat equity" opportunities. I have also been
involved in purchasing property no-one saw value in and turning that
same real estate into "Section 8" government housing.
I have been involved in the purchase of HUD homes (I
understand the process) and turned them
into wonderful, worry-free homes. In today's Colorado
Springs market, there are some truly great opportunities to be had in
HUD homes. I can help guide you through the whole process from start to
finish. I ask that you please do not go at this process alone (even if
you don't use me). My real estate services are free to you as a home
buyer and I can put my years of experience to use. I want you to have a
great HUD experience! Believe me, that does not always happen when you
are not accustomed or prepared for the entire process.
I bought my first "New Home" at age 22 ... I just didn't
want to throw money away on rent! I understand "rent vs buy" and the
benefits to you, the buyer, including tremendous tax savings. If you are
a first time buyer, please ask me about some of these benefits. Some
may surprise you! I can still remember my first home buying experience
and want yours to be as easy and pleasant as possible.
Throughout the years, I have been involved in the purchase of quite a
few land properties. It can really be a challenge knowing where to buy
(especially if you don't live around the area) and when to sell. My
experience and knowledge can really go a long way in helping you locate
that perfect parcel of land for investment or building your dream home!
I
have been involved in the purchase of new homes and have seen solid
appreciation from wise planning, timing & understanding
the new homes market, and increasing wealth through new
community
developements.
A few years ago, I worked with a respected builder in our
local community to build my 1st
" Semi- Custom" new home ... Through this very experience,
I know what you WILL walk through when you build ground-up; picking out
everything
for that special new home. It is certainly not an easy
task, but my own experience may come to good use when we talk with the
builder and plan for not only that closing date, but the months of
decision making that will happen between now and then.
I also know what you will have to plan for financially
AFTER you
move-in to that special new home including: Landscaping,
Window Coverings, Finishing Out Basements (if you didn't have the
builder do it for you), and the value these
things can bring to your home.
Who I Am Outside of Real Estate
In the midst of these different real estate experiences, I
have also worked very hard to be a dedicated mother to my 3 beautiful
children; even homeschooling them for 10yrs. I know discipline,
research, patience, and the value
of LISTENING to the needs of people. Whether wearing the
hat of wife, Mom, Sunday school teacher for infants to 5th
grade,
or being a volunteer in so many capacities, I enjoy
SERVING people!
